Amy’s commitment to EMS extends far beyond her full-time role as an educator with Metro-Area Ambulance Service. Through education, mentorship, volunteer service, and statewide advocacy, she has dedicated herself to strengthening the EMS profession and the people who serve within it.

As an educator, Amy plays an important role in advancing Metro-Area Ambulance Service’s mission of providing high-quality emergency medical care to the citizens of North Dakota. Her dedication to training, workforce development, and operational excellence has strengthened the capabilities of countless EMS professionals who now provide lifesaving care in communities throughout the state.

Amy’s service does not end when her workday is over. She also volunteers with a small-town EMS agency outside Metro-Area Ambulance Service’s service area, where she has been the driving force to keep the organization moving forward and sustainable. Her willingness to invest her time and expertise has helped strengthen an essential community resource and preserve access to emergency medical care.

Amy’s commitment to EMS also extends statewide. As a board member of the North Dakota EMS Association, she advocates for the continued growth, success, and sustainability of EMS throughout North Dakota. Through these combined roles, Amy’s influence reaches well beyond any single organization or community.
