Sara Rolando, Director of Operations at Medics First, is an exceptional EMS leader whose commitment to service extends from the patients and professionals in her organization to the broader community.

In her leadership role, Sara oversees the complex demands of emergency medical response while ensuring Medics First provides reliable, compassionate care for non-emergency transports. She leads with integrity, resilience, and a deep respect for the people around her, earning the trust of employees and community partners alike.

Sara is particularly passionate about helping others grow. She invests in her team members through coaching, thoughtful feedback, and skill development, creating an environment where employees feel supported and motivated to succeed. When challenges arise, Sara approaches them as opportunities to learn, improve, and strengthen the organization. Her ability to inspire others while maintaining high standards has made her a trusted and respected leader.

Her commitment to improving community health and safety is equally evident. Under Sara’s leadership, initiatives such as the Medics First AED Grant Program work to place lifesaving automated external defibrillators in public spaces, helping communities become better prepared to respond when sudden cardiac arrest occurs.

Kyle Sheehan

Kyle Sheehan began his EMS career in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2004, working as an EMT for Advanced Ambulance. After earning his Paramedic certification through Cuyahoga Community College, he continued developing his clinical experience in the Emergency Department at Lutheran Hospital and providing event medicine through Cleveland Clinic. Kyle joined Medic in 2009 and has since served as a Paramedic, Field Training Officer, and member of Medic’s Special Events team.

Throughout his career, Kyle has distinguished himself through exceptional patient care, clinical skill, and a calm presence that inspires confidence in patients and colleagues alike. Among Kyle’s clinical accomplishments are 39 ROSC pins, recognizing successful cardiac arrest resuscitations.

Kyle’s impact is equally evident in the clinicians he mentors. Becoming a Field Training Officer is among his proudest accomplishments, and he approaches the role with the same compassion and professionalism he brings to patient care. Kyle challenges others to become better clinicians without making them feel diminished, generously investing his time, experience, and knowledge in developing the next generation of Paramedics.

Kyle does not seek recognition for his accomplishments. Instead, he consistently shows up ready to serve his patients, support his colleagues, and strengthen his team. Jinina Wilson

Jinina Wilson, a Field Supervisor and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), represents Acadian Ambulance’s North Louisiana region, serving Ouachita, Caddo, and Bossier Parishes.

Throughout her career with Acadian, Jinina has consistently stepped forward to meet the needs of her team and community. She takes tremendous pride in both patient care and her station and has earned a reputation as one of North Louisiana’s most dependable team members.

Early in her career, Jinina set a goal of advancing to the AEMT level as a way to challenge herself and strengthen the care she could provide. She achieved that milestone while continuing to grow as an EMS professional and leader. Her dedication, reliability, and commitment to excellence ultimately led to her promotion to Field Supervisor.

Jinina leads through service. Her kindness, humility, and strong work ethic are evident in her everyday actions, and she quietly elevates those around her by stepping up when needed and setting a consistent example for her colleagues. Whether caring for patients, supporting her team, or meeting the operational needs of her region, Jinina approaches her responsibilities with professionalism and compassion.
