Eric Friedell

Eric Friedell, an exemplary EMT Communications Coordinator, has been a valued member of Northwell Health since 2019, bringing a unique blend of dedication and insight to his role. His journey into Emergency Medical Services, which began in 2017, is a testament to his desire for meaningful service. After a career in mortgages, Eric sought a more rewarding calling, leading him to volunteer as a firefighter in is community before becoming an EMT.

Serving two years on the front lines as an EMT, Eric then transitioned seamlessly to the Communications team, where he has demonstrated remarkable growth and become a trusted resource. His commitment to fostering a supportive environment is evident in his willingness to train peers. He is often described by his peers as a compassionate sounding board, knowledgeable and always there for those who need a listening ear.

Outside of his vital role, Eric finds balance and renewal in nature. He embraces the outdoors as he enjoys hiking and fishing. His adventurous spirit also fuels a long-term goal: to one day complete the entirety of the Appalachian Trail. Eric Friedell embodies the spirit of service, growth, and unwavering support, making him an invaluable asset to the Northwell Health team and a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.
