For more than 26 years, Shawn Burch has embodied the professionalism, compassion, and dedication that define EMSA. A veteran Paramedic who has served in both operations and clinical services, Shawn is widely respected by teammates, field leaders, and clinical staff for his expertise, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

Throughout his career, Shawn has consistently delivered exceptional patient care while building strong relationships with hospital emergency departments and first responder partners across the region. His calm, confident presence on high-stress scenes makes him a trusted clinician and a reassuring leader when patients and crews need it most.

Shawn is equally committed to the success of those around him. He willingly shares his knowledge, mentors new team members, and helps develop the next generation of EMS professionals. His positive attitude, dependability, and unwavering support of EMSA’s mission have made a lasting impact on countless colleagues throughout his career.
