Ryan Stewart

Paramedic

Ryan Stewart has served with REACT Emergency Medical Services since 2018. As a Paramedic who primarily serves on REACT’s 12-hour nighttime truck, Ryan has earned the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to support those around him.

Ryan’s coworkers describe him as someone who works tirelessly without complaint and is always quick to lend a hand. His experience and approachable nature have also made him a trusted resource for fellow EMS professionals. During his shifts, Ryan regularly takes time to talk with EMTs and Paramedics following difficult or complex calls, helping them debrief, answer questions, and learn from the experience. He does this not because he is asked, but because he genuinely wants to help those around him grow.

That commitment has made Ryan an outstanding example for both new and experienced EMS professionals. His colleagues know they can count on him for guidance, encouragement, and a great attitude, even during demanding shifts. Whether caring for patients, helping a fellow crew member, or informally mentoring another provider, Ryan consistently looks for ways to make his team stronger.

When not serving the citizens of REACT’s response area, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Chelsea, and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, golf, and gunsmithing.

Ryan’s dedication to his patients, colleagues, and community reflects the very best of emergency medical services. REACT EMS is proud to recognize Ryan Stewart as an American Ambulance Association Star of Life.
