Hunter Struemke began his career with Lakes Region EMS as a new EMT, bringing plenty of energy, personality, and perhaps a little unpredictability. Over the years, that energy has developed into an impressive combination of clinical excellence, maturity, leadership, and commitment to the EMS profession.

Today, Hunter is a highly skilled Critical Care Paramedic whose clinical expertise, sharp wit, and genuine humility are evident on every shift. He provides exceptional care in complex and challenging situations and has earned the trust of both his colleagues and the patients he serves. His commitment to excellence extends beyond his own practice, as he actively educates and mentors fellow team members, helping strengthen the clinical abilities and confidence of those around him.

Hunter’s sense of humor remains one of his defining qualities, but equally important is his resilience. Even through personal challenges, he continues to show up for his patients and his team with professionalism, a smile, and, more often than not, a well-timed sarcastic comment.
