Upon arrival, he found the Kern County Fire Department and his colleagues from the first responding ambulance working to save two patients—one of them being the Paramedic from his own station. Without hesitation, Brengartner joined the team, assisting in resuscitation efforts and supporting the scene until a third ambulance arrived. He then helped load his injured partner and safely transported him to the emergency department, ensuring his coworker received the urgent care he needed.

This incident exemplifies the selflessness, skill, and professionalism EMT Brengartner brings to his work every day. Whether caring for the residents of Rosamond or standing by his teammates in their moments of greatest need, he embodies the values of service, compassion, and community.
